I got the "account death" email notice and reckoned I better log in. After so much time away from forum life, guess I kind of missed the rah-rah interaction.
Still can't look at my own thread http://www.sputtergutter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=384, which was one of the things that irked me away in the first place. But I can talk about Sony and Mac stuff and banana potassium content and stuff like that I guess.
Supraman - I put up a question somewhere: Do you know what DMZplus is?

It has to do with routers. Firewall, private network, NAT, Incoming traffic from whichever application, IP address...... ...all those keywords. I asked our Linux guy, but he got fragged by Tux apparently.

Yea as far as I can tell it's supposed to be an enhanced security feature with some routers, but you have to know how to set it up properly or it'll make you more vulnerable.
