Possible to record java?

I was wondering if it's possible to record webcam shows that use java. Not like the crappy slow ones either, the WMV-quality java webcams. If they were displayed in WMP it'd be a hell of a lot easier, but they are encoded in java, and it doesn't let you right click on the video. I tried a screen recording program (a crummy free one off download.com), but when I tried to record it it just showed up as all black or really, really choppy.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

I have the same prob , I can't find the pics/vid anywhere in my cache , also , is there any way to get the "source" of these , view source in Safari suck's , working on it though.......

You might try something like FRAPS, but the trial (i never have bothered looking for a key cause it's not effective at higher resolutions for me) only lets you record 30 seconds at a time. might be pretty solid for a camshow though

actually seeing as macs are regarded as superior a/v machines, I bet there's plenty of solid screen capture / recording software available. having a nice video card geared toward capturing would help too, or at least a powerful one I guess

I meant the cam-show pics full screen . if only I could find the source, i got an idea , I posted 1 of my home-made on the web vids before , Screen action studio is great , only make's QT .movs though.........:004:

Thanks for the help, I'll keep searching though. In the meantime, I have some kinda brute-force rips of some private webcam streams uploaded here soon. I'll get some preview pics made and upload the first vid, they came out pretty freakin huge (100mb+ each, easily), and the picture quality is alright. It's not seamless though, it stutters every now and then. Hopefully I'll get a better program for this though, so I can start recording some new ones.
