View Full Version : Ignoring others should be against the law

A lot of things appear on my hate list. When people ignore (especially when I try to reach them), it is pretty damn high. I hate that shit and would prohibit it if I could. That's the ultimate sign of cold-heartedness and inconsideration. Whoever thinks there should be no penalty against ignoring deserves to know what slavery feels like. If you don't feel like responding, let somebody know. Don't pull a person's chain and make them wonder and have doubts and worry about something that is less important than they think. It drives me insane to have people lead me think something and make a big deal out of an actual little one. That's what happens when ignore instead of let the person know that it isn't a good time to chat or simply don't like speaking to the person. I hate that shit and wish it would just DIE!

I hate rudeness as much - wankers who are to rude or ignorant to see if someone is walking in the door behind them

my dealings with others in RL leave little room for anything but direct yes/no (black/white) type responses. i've always felt this is the best approach to avoid confusion. make it so people don't have a way to ignore you.

Well, if / when someone's ignoring you, it's probably time to find a different someone. Like, if your favorite restaurant's waitstaff ignores you for 30 minutes every time you go there to eat, you probably need to find a new restaurant. But something tells me we're talking about something quite different than a restaurant here. :)

This is happening with a lot of people, not just one person. It could be one of the reasons why I haven't got a girlfriend or been in a relationship despite the age of 22.

if the problem is global, you may want to look within for the problem. how specifically have you been ignored? maybe you're just not as direct as one should be.

if it's ladies that seem to ignore you, that comes in many flavors.
most times it really is a "leave me alone" attitude.
but sometimes it's just a form of them being coy.
I've been trying to get a handle on this longer than you have been alive Mr. Weed.
I still haven't got it completly figured out. :D

i agree. in fact, looking within will answer most all problems that you might have. you might also find that through introspection (non drug-induced) you will develop an inner calmness that will make it less likely for people to ignore you.

Walk out into a mall naked, screaming at the top of your lungs , and I gaurantee you will not be ignored, put in an asylum, maybe.

Why try to have 1 girlfriend when you allready have 2 hands hahahahaha

Seriously though , smoke some killer shit and rent a ho , life's too short for regrets , you'll be aight in the long run , good luck........:004:

Or become a better tipper....Schmoke just start ignoring her or them back. Hell if they don't want your company you don't want theirs. If they don't call you back after two messages just move on brother!...unless you're in sales then pester the shit outa them. :003:

One of my friends was ignored by guys when she was younger because she was overweight, wore glasses and braces.

Now she looks something like...

Guys don't ignore her anymore, but she certainly takes pleasure in ignoring them.

The only thing is, now she's doing the same thing -- in ignoring them -- as they did to her when she was the less attractive one.

Yeah, because you have to figure out if it is because they are too busy, or maybe they don't like you, or they might even be scared of you, or something else. At least if they insult you, you can say ok and find someone else.

I have a former friend whose text msgs and phone calls I would ignore, simply because he is an arsehole. Took me a while to realise this but better late than never. I felt it easier to just let him get the message through my actions than tell him, mostly cos he's an ignorant prick. He isn't the type of person I want to associate with. I wouldn't want my name thrown around with his either. Everyone has their reasons for ignoring others, whether it's personal, professional, or just plain spiteful. Let's just get on with life.
