Age of Empires III

Anyone play this game? If so, what's your favorite nation to play and what strategy do you use?

yeah i got this game.

No nation in particular to favour, since as long as you can amass enough rifle man/skirmishers and artillery. Its fairly easy to rush someone elses base and wipe them out.

So its usually a race to build the largest infantry army with artillery support including more than a few mortar teams and wipe them out from a distance with mortar and kill off any defenders that rush out to you with smaller artillery and your infantry.

Just got this game. The graphics are a nice step up from AoE II. I am just getting started on the game, but i do like the British.

Was a big fan of AOEII. Played both AOM and AOEIII a bit, but never quite the same. The beauty of AOEII was ability to rebuild anywhere.

Well...it seems if U play and try 2 get into a corner and start building a wall arounf ur base...U don't get attacked 2 much...and it gives u time 2 build up...

I have played this game a lot since i got it and i am very impressed with it. I really like the idea of the home city.

It is not that hard to hold off an attack and then go right after them. I have used a lot of artillery and first strike either their houses or military buildings and then charge with many of my soldiers.

i still play AOEII doing the campaigns on the hardest level are still pretty fun.

Still haven't gotten AOE III, I bought Civ IV instead, and while it's good, I'd probably like AOE III better. Don't know why I haven't picked it up yet, since I think AOE II might be the single best pc game ever. An absolute classic. :026:
