I have a ton of these "updates" , but , it seem's even Mac users with QT pro cannot play these files WTF? :032:

Even got 1 with Meganqt topless ( in the mirror ) :064: .

Should I continue to post or is it a waste?

Well, if no can see/use them but you I guess you can stop. I tried some of the converters you posted for me but the two I download said the files were corrupted. Though I would LOVE to see teh Megan topless mirror vid if I can't see it it does nothing for me. I guess you can enjoy them at your leisure and let the rest of us suffer in agony until they are released normally!

It seems that i am able to play these files. I don't what is wrong with the other people. There is nothing wrong with them, maybe a little chopy at times but they work great and good quality too.

That MOV ain't no MOV. Its a WMV that has been renamed as a MOV by sly webmaster.

My QuickTime won't play it. Gives some screen squawking about needing add'l components - I missed the chance to get that screenshot - only showed it first time.


VLC is a great app because it tells you real 411. It says that the codec the file is calling for is "WMV3"

I change the extension to .WMV

You guys with PCs should try renaming the file to .WMV.
The file name can be anything, see here I've changed it to a BILLY_BOB file

but Windows Media Player won't accept a BILLY_BOB file being dragged onto the its dock icon. So maybe you guys were trying to open it in the wrong app (QuickTime), . . . or couldn't get a WMV-compatible app to launch file because program lamely assumed it was a MOV just from looking at the filename extension.

(BTW: I actually only got 75% of the file dl'd before my broadband went down. I don't know if sorry-ass Windows-Media-Player-for-Mac thinks the file format is invalid because its not all there, or because its a new WMV that Windows-Media-Player-for-Mac simply doesn't play.)

You got flip4mac (http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv.htm) installed. It is likely installed in your universal plugin folder /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/.

Check yours and see. That way, RealPlayer can also access its codecs. (You'll notice my QuickTime plugin is missing - that's because I deleted it.)

So when you double-click on a media file, the player plays it if it can find the right codec anywhere ( all the old familiar places). Its all transparent to you.

I think flip4mac is the only source of up-to-date Microsoft codecs for the Mac platform. Microsoft itself sure isn't. Anyways, I never bothered with flip4mac because it costs money - money for something I don't care enough about to spend money on, I guess.

I always thought it was license 'Demo' or 'Shareware' on VerstionTracker and MacUpdate. Now after surfin around flip4mac's site, and following their link to microsoft's pages , it appears they are making it free. I just checked VT and MU, and they show it being licensed as 'free.' Hmm. I did not know that.

I'll even throw in a serial for QT pro , the price is right , last offer............Yeah man hookmeup. Do I have to download Pro first, or is the Pro stuff already in there?

Installed flip4mac and now I've got the stealth WMV aplayin in QT.

So that makes it official guys, it really is a WMV file. The MeganQt people are messing around with us. Try it in your WMV v.11 Beta or whatever it is on windows platform now.
