Where the hell is the "Game" forum???

Anyways, I'm not a big gaming guy - the last game I thought to myself "Hey, that looks cool - I'm totaly going to buy it soon after it gets released" was Final Fantasy 9, for the original PS. (I bought a pirated version for $10, btw...

I bought the game "God of War" as a bargain Bestseller edition some 9 months ago. I'd heard nothing but good things about it. As I played it I not only thought to myself thoughts of "Yeah, this game is pretty cool" but also thoughts of " My name is Kratos, God of War!! Kneel before me mortal!!!" and I was only chatting with hungarianstud about getting some gear grease for my bike. - "kneel before me mortal scum!!!" and I just couldn't not.

I think I've figured out why I like this game:
You get to actually play it, rather than watch cut-scenes of it.
That's been my biggest complaint about recent games, like Final Fantasy so and so
I want to explore it, not walk through a room in one direction and be subject to half an hour of CG plot scenes.
The original Nintendo, SNES games were awesome. Why can't they replicate that in the 3-d graphic environment?

Bought this on the day it was released but not even started it yet.. Was playing through FF XIII when it was released and have stuck with that, but now i have finished it i might start God Of War 3 tonight.

I've played all 3, I'd have to say that the 3rd one was more enjoyable overall if you include the graphics. The first 2 had some insanely difficult platforming and cutscene button pressing portions.. but that made the first 2 also more satisfying when you beat the game.
