a good p2p torrent client

i haven't tried using torrents, i believe it starts with a good torrent client. any ideas?

either µTorrent (http://www.utorrent.com/) or Azureus (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/) depending on how many options you like to tweak

Azureus is a bit of a resource hog, but has more bells and whistles

I use Azureus. I've tried a couple others but didnt like them. I'll only have Azureus on if I know I'm gonna be away from my pc - work/sleep - but thats more of a DSL sucking balls kinda thing :D

Yes, uTorrent is the lightest, fastest and coolest, at least in my PC system!

Haha, I used the standard bittorrent client for so freakin' long, all the while oblivious the the horrendous downloading wait times and my super-low sharing ratios. A few months back I finally wisened-up and downloading utorrent, and no I can download like a madman and I can upload a ton. Last time I checked, a Nine Inch Nails discography I downloaded (roughly 890MB) was at a 23.58 share ratio. :)

EDIT: Just checked it now, 30.082!!! And I only downloaded the discography last week, man I love utorrent...

I've had an excellent experience with Azureus. Some coworkers prefer BitLord, but I'm the kind of people that if something works right, there's no need in trying something else.

Personal recommendation? Try Azureus too if you feel like it.
