Congrats to the Mavs for making the finals. It would of been a different story if the Suns had Amare Stoudemire. Dallas is lucky they didnt have him. Phoenix beat them in 6 last year and Dallas returned the favor this year.

What a great win for the Mavs! Showed a lot of character coming back after that awful first half.

Yeah. I couldn't believe how awful the Mavs were in the first half, but the second half was a much better story. Congrats to them!

Would it help if I said they were going to lose to the Heat??? Lol. I think they'll go to 7 but they won't take the title. Just imagine if Dirk matched up against Shaq? I know it'll probably go to Dampier and Diop but it's possible if they foul out early. This is going to be a great Finals series.

lol I don't think they'll put Dirk on shaq. They'd sooner have Van Horn cover him :p

The Heat have had a couple convenient series against a lousy offensive team (NJ) and a team that's played a whole extra season the last 4 years and was whining about their coach and the officials the whole postseason. Look how the Bulls were able to take it to the Heat; think the Bulls x 100 and you have Dallas. :)

The first and second half of Game 6 last night was the perfect example of the Mavs of old and new. In the first, the Mavs weren't taking it to the rim, and settling for too many jump shots; they looked very bad. In the second, they did just the opposite, and suffocated Phoenix with their defense. Dallas had 11 steals!

Great game for the Mavs. Dirk deserves his first finals appearence, and I have a feeling that he'll get his first ring, too.
