Work Sucks

I thought I'd start this thread as a way to vent about shitty jobs, etc. I have a few I'd like to share, but I'll tell you about what I'm going through right now. lol

I'm Assistant Manager at a restaurant owned by my mother and stepfather. It's easy, don't get me wrong, but I work hard and I want the place to succeed. Well, today the Head Cook shouts at me calling me an "asshole" and a "brat" and lots of other colorful names. It pissed me off, but I kept my cool. She was upset at me, because she thought I was sitting on the paychecks and not handing them out at the normal time. I was told before my mother left town to go on her only vacation of the year, to hand them out at 5.

I wanted to hand them out at 4:30 to be nice. That wasn't good enough. I was "supposed" to hand them out at 4:00. :106: Anyway, I gave her the fuckin' checks, but she was never like this and all of a sudden, this 50 year old dingbat snaps. WTF? lol

Ah well, just to let you guys know - I'm not a brat. lol

Kiss my grits is good. lol I'd tell her to make me some damn pie, but I don't like it so much. Maybe "get your bitch ass in the kitchen and make me a pizza!".

This woman just completely snapped over nothing. It was kind of scary, because it came right out of the blue. Oh well, maybe this "brat" can get her canned? ;)

Ya know, I just found out through my brother's girlfriend that my mom has just forfeited her 51% of this building and restaurant, that's worth almost a million dollars ($800,000-Million, somewhere in between), so that means my chances of ever owning this place in the future are nill.
