Have you ever downloaded a whole 700mb .avi/divx porn movie (about 88 minutes worth) only to get the 22 minute scene you wanted? And that's because the ************************ decided to put about 8 zipped files on rapidshare of the first half of the 3 hour movie (and you must download all 8 to unrar) instead of splitting it by actress and simply loading the zips of her scenes alone.

What's the best way to extract that scene?

I know there's a lot of video split software out there but I don't have a fucking clue as to what's the best program to use. Basically I just want to get the scene with the actress of interest and the rest of the movie can be deleted.

I have heard of a rar opener that allows you to play any rar seperately- no need to down all parts so if you know which part your scene is in it you get that one - I will look for it I am sure it is on my Pc somewhere - its not what you want but it may limit your downloading until you get what you want :D

Thanks. When you extract your clip, does it go through a conversion process as well? I honestly hate that.

not if you setup vdub to use the original format. then it just clips it fast.

there is probably a simpler prog for it, since vdub does so much more, but that is the one i know best.

It sounds great already, since every other program I've sampled wants to convert the clip frame by frame. I don't want that at all. Where can I get this vdub? :D

i should mention "VirtualDub is mainly geared toward processing AVI files." which is what you want right?

Thanks. I'll have to check if AVI extends to DivX as both formats are usually put together in video software. I can also use Dr DivX to convert other formats to DivX. I'll give this program a test.
