LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The slam of the skateboarder's body against the ramp caused a collective shudder among X Games spectators and had Web video watchers gasping Friday morning.

ah yeah, what do people expect, xgames is a little better about it than nascar, but watching humans fling themselves on little pieces of wood with wheels on them 40 feet, is not surprising they get hurt. Gasp my ass. I was able to watch some of this at a local sports bar, those ramps are insane and anyone who even attemps to go down one must expect to get fucked up physically.
OMG this 'EXTREME' idot gets slammed, gasp, I never thought that such a thing would happen in my narrow ego attachment to some poor schmuck who will prob never walk or feel the bottom half of his body again, what an enlightening Eye opener, SURGE!

just a little rant here never hurt no one, skateboarding and doing insanely stupid things do.

Here's the video of the crash. Apparently, he suffered a broken wrist, a bruised lung and liver, severe whiplash, and stress fractures of his vertebrae. As I posted on Youtube, it can't be good when you hit the ground so hard your shoes fly off.
