So I've been busy downloading the movies from the "old" forum and I'd like to copy them to DVD so that I may watch them on my TV. What programs/tools can I use to make this happen. I first used Roxio and it worked great but not on all movies. A friend of mine couldn't get them to work on his player either. Some suggestions would be very appreciated :004:

Have you tried Nero?
I've been using Nero Vision Express in the Nero suite for about a year and a half now to make dvds from downloaded files with no problems. I recomend Nero 6 Ultra as Nero 7 is still in beta stage. Just a warning some dvds will take a lot longer to burn due to the encoding process. Avis, mpegs and vob files take the shortest times, while wmv's take longer. MOV files need to be converted before burning.
I recommend Maxell DVD+Rs!

Look into making SVCD's. They will play in a dvd player but they are written on cd's. It is less expensive and the encoding doesn't take nearly as long or use as much of your system's resourses.
I highly recomend this forum http://forum.digital-digest.com/index.php
I haven't had to ask any questions, just searched and found the answers. Good luck :D
