Youtube to clampdown on apps that allow DLing of content on Youtube WTF?

I can't find any articles yet , but it is rumoured that Youtube , a site where copyrighted material has been streaming ( producers are now suing the shit outta them for 'copy-right infingement' since Google acquired said site ) for a while , is planning lawsuits against those who distribute apps which allow the DLing/saving of material placed on Youtube .

What irony , the 'Pirate ship' is now going after the 'Pirates' lol lol lol . The "free era" of the Internet is coming to an end , just wait till the corporations take over fully , "hackers' will still "hack" , but no more sharing in public view............:065:

Huh? YouTube Sends TechCrunch A Cease & Desist

The offense we committed was creating a small tool that lets people download YouTube videos to their hard drives. We referenced the tool in a recent post that walked people through the process of moving YouTube Videos to their iPod.

We created the tool only after a careful review of YouTube’s Terms of Use, which state “If you download or print a copy of the Content for personal use, you must retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained therein.” The letter, however, states “The YouTube’s Terms of Use also allows users to access videos only through the functionality of the YouTube website via streaming on
